Golden hour is generous, but it flatters everything the same way. Overcast mornings are harder to love and far more honest: soft shadows, true colours, and streets that are still half asleep.
A 35 mm prime, thirty days, no zoom. The first week felt like a handicap. By the last one I was walking more, framing faster and deleting far fewer shots.
